The story of how we are building the personal brand of one retailer and rebranding the store as an Amish Gallery
Gary O’Reilly, owner of O’Reilly’s Furniture and Amish Gallery in Libertyville, Illinois tasked Web4Retail with rebranding O’Reilly’s as an Amish Gallery and driving more in-store traffic to his 15,000 sq.ft. showroom.
SOUNDS LIKE FUN RIGHT? WE THOUGHT SO!
Our first concept was to develop a strong personal brand online for Gary. Gary has thrived for 40 years as a furniture retailer and we thought that was a story worth telling. We used modern video production and editing techniques. We taped and edited more than 10 profile videos of Gary. Our still photographers shot 100’s of photographs of Gary shining in his element; on his showroom floor with his customers. “I wasn’t really sure what building my personal brand was all about,” says Gary, “Now I’m a believer!”
Running parallel to the personal branding initiative for Gary, we also focused heavily on promoting Amish furniture and, as such, showcased 100’s of Amish product on the O’Reilly’s website. We carried that idea over to Gary’s YouTube Channel with a section for AMISH FURNITURE VIDEO TUTORIALS. We’ve instructed Gary to shoot short, instructional videos on the many different elements of Amish Furniture. For example, this video highlighted the quality of Amish drawers has received more than 1,000 views in 2 months.
